“ Needs talking to the sun…”

Monsoon has drenched Kerala.
Boats are kept overturned to keep off rainwater.
Every spin is in the rain.
It is wet, wet and wet ….
Nevertheless, is spin in the rain moody?
No... Try listening to the hit ‘Raindrops Keep fallin’ on My Head’...
and Sun is go'n to come back!!
As I spin through heavy  monsoon, when I cannot take out my camera for a ‘click’ …
and when everything is wet, wet and wet , I speak to myself,
" Life needn’t be groovy….'cause Raindrops Keep fallin on My Head’ " .

The lyrics is so beautiful, so classical American …
I love it and sing it along any rainy-spin...

Raindrops keep falling on my head
And just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed
Nothin’ seems to fit
Those raindrops are falling on my head, they keep falling

So I just did need some talkin’ to the sun
And I said I didn’t like the way he’ got things done
Sleepin’ on the job
Those raindrops are falling on my head they keep falling
But there’s one thing I know
The blues they sends to meet me won’t defeat me
It won’t be long till happiness steps up to greet me

Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn’t mean my eyes will soon be turnin’ red
Crying’s not for me
Cause I’m never gonna stop the rain by complainin’
Because I’m free
Nothing’s worrying me.

If Butch and Etta are off, pedalling  out of a farmyard down a dust track, we too can take any rain, any dark clouds any dust tracks on our way and keep talking to the sun.

Keep going … and  "God, BLESS MY MONSOON AGAIN !!"

Friday, June 8

the empty path on my way ...

THE empty path welcomes you,
fragrant with grass and little flowers,
the path paved with paddy field
still bearing the marks of your childhood
and the fragrance of mother's hand.
Walk leisurely, peacefully
Your feet touch the Earth deeply
Don't let your thoughts carry your away,
come back to the path every moment.

The path is your dear friend.
She will transmit to you
her solidity,
and her peace.
